Step out of your spacious bure to a white sandy beach and blue lagoon, with a coral reef beyond. Although the lagoon is not ideal for swimming, there are several nice snorkelling spots nearby and a pleasant swimming pool for cooling off.

The Tambua Serenaders entertain nightly with songs of the Pacific, followed by Island theme nights (kava ceremony, pottery and weaving demos, and traditional, Fijian dancing and singing etc.) On Sunday enjoy acappella singing by our village choir.

Tambua Sands has its own restaurant offering European, Indian and Seafood dishes at a reasonable price. The Tarana Restaurant serves delectable cocktails and cuisine of an amazing standard at very reasonable prices. The restaurant is known for its seafood and local dishes.

Activities

Laze around the fresh water pool, play a round of croquet or simply relax and soak up the sun rays. If you're feeling energetic, get busy with the recreation staff for snorkelling, kayaking, diving, hiking, reef walks and visits to Fijian villages. Nestling in the natural setting of Tambua Sands are 19 Beachfront and 6 Ocean View bures (cottages).

Traditional Fijian style accomodation with cool high ceilings, the bures are spacious, private, and create an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.

Your bure fronts a blue lagoon and superb coral reef.

Individual bures are both spacious inside and set well apart giving good privacy.

All have en suite bathrooms, tea/coffee making facilities, ceiling fans, fridges and small veranda.

Some bures are interconnecting.

Spread amongst 17.5 acres of coconut grove your bure allows you to enjoy your own touch of paradise.
