Matana Beach Resort is a small beach resort (maximum 20 guests) just 10-minutes by boat from Kadavu airport with all tide swimming and great beach snorkelling facing the Namalata Reef with its exceptional scuba diving.

The resort's coconut tree-fringed beach is superb and has been listed by Outside Magazine as one of the 10 best in the world.

The Namalata Reef is just 5 minutes by dive boat from the resort and offer a wide variety of dive sites including sea fans, cabbage patches, tropical fish, soft coral walls and drift dives with pelagics. The Astrolabe Reef is also accessible to the east and the sheer cliffs of Nabukulevu offer excellent drop-off's top the west - this is also a great spot for game fishing.

Restaurants / Bars
Located in the elevated dining area, the Matana Restaurant serves a variety of local and international dishes. Meals are order off the blackboard or buffet style, and the licensed bar is fully stocked with beers, wines, spirits, sodas and snacks.

There are two Bars, the Lounge Bar and the Beach Bar. Both are lovely spots to view the sunset.

Lounge
The lounge area has a Library of approx two thousand paperbacks, hard cover books and magazines for those that enjoy reading.
