Situated on the northern tip of Kadavu Island, approximately 45 miles south of Fiji's capital city Suva, this eco-resort is set in 18 acres of lush tropical gardens with its own secluded beachfront and magnificent views across the bay to the island of Ono.

From Tiliva Resort you can experience the breathtaking corals and ocean life of the awe-inspiring Astrolabe and Solo Reefs, one of the natural wonders of the world.

Alternatively the more relaxed guest can choose to snorkel. The surrounding areas with their crystal clear waters are just waiting to be explored. Or simply relax on the beach.

The resort is Fijian owned. The proprietor having spent many years in Europe returned home to establish the resort in order to help his village - the village of Tiliva.

Dining

Dining is in the restaurant or on the veranda of the main house. Guests can enjoy the freshly picked tropical fruit and native vegetables organically grown in our kitchen garden and from the gardens in the village. This coupled with fresh fish and local delicacies we offer the best of western and Fijian cuisine.

Guests can also help or watch their meals being cooked in the traditional lovo. There is a well stocked bar with cold beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. All meals are included in the cost of the stay.

Getting there

From Suva (Nausori Airport) or Nadi Airport guests take a flight of approximately 45 minutes with either Air Fiji or Sun Air to Vunisea airport at Kadavu, followed by an exciting 60-minute boat trip from Vunisea to Tiliva Resort.

For a minimum stay of three nights boat transfers to and from Vunisea airport are free for Tiliva Resort guests.

Prior notice of arrival is essential for pick up from airport.
