Part of the Kadavu Island Group, Yaukuve is approximately 45 minutes flight from Nadi International Airport. Surrounded by the world famous Great Astrolabe Reef, spectacular diving, snorkeling and fishing are all at your doorstep. Yaukuve's world class chefs have created a diverse menu that draws influences from both traditional and Fijian cuisines using fresh and local produce. Dine a-la-carte in the Sōlevu Restaurant, enjoy poolside alfresco snacks at the Mālua Wai Pool Bar, or there is the convenience of Room Service in the privacy and comfort of your own bure.

Other special dining areas include The Wharf for succulent seafood, perfect pizzas and tempting tapas; The Talanoa Deck for traditional Fijian cooking in the lovo oven; and for the ultimate in indulgent privacy, enjoy meals or picnics on a neighbouring secluded island (by arrangement only).

Complimentary cocktails and appetisers are provided most evenings at one of our stunning island locations. The resort also boasts an extensive wine collection and guests have the chance to sample our cellar with wine and food tasting events

Gymnasium - Yaukuve Island Resort provides a 24 hour Gymnasium with state of the art equipment and entertainment in a beautifully natural environment.  We offer yoga classes most mornings on the wharf to start your day beautifully stretched and relaxed.

Lomo Vata Spa - The Lomo Vata Spa is your escape to harmony, bliss and wellness.Guests can enjoy a sumptuous array of treatments, both modern and traditional, in unique and uncompromising style and privacy.

Loma Vata Spa massages include the Traditional Fijian Bobo massage, Four hands massage, Tropical Paradise Massage, Hot Stone Therapy Massage and many more. Wet treatments, body wraps, aromatherapy and detoxification treatments are also available. Facials, manicure, pedicures and several other beauty treatments are also offered at the Loma Vata Spa.
 
The Loma Vata Spa is set apart from the rest of the resort on Yaukuve's northern cliff-face where it takes full advantage of the panoramic views. At the time of your appointment, you are picked up from your bure and taken through the gates into a world of pure relaxation and serenity. All three hour sessions include your desired treatments, a foot soak and light refreshments to be enjoyed while relaxing on the deck overlooking one of the islands best views.

Library & Cinema

The ?Rainforest Lounge' is the perfect place to find an excellent read, some great music from our CD collection or an enthralling DVD to enjoy in your bure. If a real movie experience is more to your liking, then The Yaukuve Cinema and Screening Room shows daily movies in plush leather reclining armchairs. Popcorn and snacks are served just prior to each movie.

Activities - Our activities bure is where guests can access the resort's recreational equipment. Paddle above the island's beautiful reef in a glass bottom kayaks, snorkel or scuba dive.

• The temperate waters are perfect for swimming all year round.
• There are  well maintained walking tracks for a casual stroll, or for the more energetic, walk to the southern summit for amazing views.
• Mountain Bikes and helmets are available free of charge for resort guests wanting to explore the island.

• Game fishing or Reef fishing charters can be arranged.
• Diving & Snorkelling - For those who are new to SCUBA our in-house PADI dive instructors can have you certified in a couple of days. Fiji is world famous for its beautiful diving, so let our professional team show you the highlights on the nearby Great Astrolabe Reef.

Transport

Transfers to Yaukuve - The transfer to Yaukuve Island is via well-appointed modern seaplanes and helicopters. Air Yaukuve attendants will meet you at Nadi International Airport and personally escort you to your air transport for you to enjoy the 45 minute scenic flight to Yaukuve Island.

Resort Buggies - The concierge department is always on call to chauffer guests around the island in our comfortable and fun resort buggies. The Tabua Villas all receive their own resort buggy.

Resort Boats - Yaukuve has its own fleet of resort boats including a dive boat and an ?Island hopping' boat available free of charge for all guests partaking in these activities.

Business Service

Fax and copy services are available at reception. All resort accommodation has complimentary wireless internet access. Computers are available for use, free of charge, in the Rainforest Lounge.

Yaukuve Island is available for exclusive hire as a deluxe small conference venue. The Rainforest Lounge is appointed with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, communications and a spacious breakout area; enabling a pleasurable and productive conference.

Deluxe Beach Bure

The eighteen deluxe beach bures (traditional Fijian thatched home) are spread sparingly along Yaukuve?s two longest beaches.  The open design of the 150sqm bure brings the magic of the South Pacific in, yet affords the guest every modern luxury in complete air conditioned privacy.

Each bure has an outdoor terrazzo bath, rain shower and covered dining deck. In addition, every bure has a private infinity edge pool overlooking the white sandy beach and turquoise sea. 

The interiors are tastefully dressed with modern furnishings in a style that embraces traditional Fijian design.
