Octopus Resort is located 27 miles from the Fijian mainland, on Waya Island, the largest land mass in the Yasawa Island Group.
Take a sunrise or sunset stroll along the 1km stretch of tranquil Likuliku Bay. The silica in the sand feels soft and silky underfoot.
Curl up with a good book from our huge library in one of the many hammocks or sun loungers.

Dining & Entertainment
Octopus prides itself in using fresh local produce. You will find freshly caught seafood, tropical fruits and vegetables and fresh thirst-quenching juices. Most of what we cook is grown locally or caught in the waters around Octopus.
There is a kid's dinner menu and the staff will cook an early dinner for your children if required.
We have a wonderful new restaurant, its sand floors, open air design and large decks make it the idea place to relax and enjoy our spectacular sunsets. We have a full bar, and can even produce a very good Expresso made with great tasting Fiji Coffee beans.
There is a compulsory meal plan ( includes Breakfast , Lunch, Dinner).
On Friday nights, the staff hold a traditional Fijian Meke (cultural show) for guests. The meke is a fun filled 45 minutes of song, dance and revelry wrapped up in the true flavours of the Pacific.

Octopus Resort has a fulll range of equipment, all brand new and includes wetsuits, fins, masks, B.C.D's etc, all housed in the new dive shop. Bring your own gear or use the resort's gear and be guided through the Yasawa Island's crystal clear tropical blue waters or take the plunge for the first time and do a one-off resort dive. Octopus offer free scuba lessons 3 times a week, so if you have been thinking about giving scuba a go there's no excuse not to and no better place to do it !
Fiji is famous throughout the world for its spectacularly rich and vibrant soft coral reefs. Fed by nutrient rich currents, these soft coral gardens are havens and food sources for thousands of species of fish and invertebrates.
Some of the numerous dive sites you can explore are only 5 mins from Octopus. The first dive site is just 300 meters off the beach !
Getting There
Octopus?s own water taxi, the Amberley, departs daily from Lautoka at 10 am for the 90 minute journey to Octopus and returns in the afternoon at 2.30pm.
