Turtle Island Fiji

The ultimate private island getaway with just 14 bures situated on the beach of the famous Blue Lagoon.

Turtle Island is a private, remote, desert island idyll, with no cars, TVs or telephones, but 14 gorgeous beaches and accommodation for just 28 guests. All 14 bures or cottages are located along the famous Blue Lagoon.

Turtle Island is located in the Yasawa Island Group of Fiji. Just a 25 minute seaplane ride from the Turtle Airways seaplane base near Nadi,Turtle Island has a booth in the Nadi International Airport for guests' convenience.

The filming location for the 1949 movie "Blue Lagoon" and its remake in the late 70's starring Brook Shields  became the Turtle Island Resort in 1980, a Five-Star truly all-inclusive resort.

Turtle's ambience and amenities are designed for couples who enjoy each other's company - such as romantic picnics for two, intimate moonlit dinners at seaside, horseback riding at dawn, relaxing and sensual massages.

Turtle Island provides an exceptional opportunity for you to escape from western life and become reacquainted with the simpler values of life.

Limited to 14 couples enjoying exceptional island architecture, in a South Pacific Paradise, the entire 500-acre island is for the guests who may choose to reserve one of the 14 beaches for a private picnic or to explore the highland Rainforest or coastal treasures.

Dinner parties, private pontoon dine-outs, breakfast in bed, beach picnics... the all-inclusive style at Turtle Island allows you to indulge in exquisite one-of-a-kind dishes and large selection of premuim wines and libations to your hearts content.

The culinary staff prepares its island specialty with organic fruits and vegetables grown in the island's four-acre vegetable garden and a vast variety of seafood caught by local fishermen daily in the surrounding waters.

Guests on Turtle Island find open air dining to be as much fun as it is delicious and varied. Lantern-lit dinners are lively, as worldly problems seem to disappear in the joyous gatherings of our guests.

For a romantic evening try a seaside moonlight dinner or a meal by lantern light on a floating pontoon in the middle of the Blue Lagoon.

You'll feast on freshly caught yellowfin tuna, lobster, crab, succulent Australian beef, native fruits, and sweet island grown vegetables picked just that afternoon from our organic vegetable garden. Maybe grilled lobster with lemon grass or pork fillet with honey, ginger, and pineapple, followed by jasmine creme brulee with mint sorbet.

Fine French, Italian, Australian, New Zealand and U.S. wines and champagnes are poured generously throughout the evening.

Lomi lomi Massage

This unique healing massage has been handed down through Hawaiian families for generations and is profoundly healing and nurturing. Lomi-Lomi can be given by a single practitioner or with two practitioners working together - double the bliss!

The massage is given in a fluid, rhythmic motion working with the body's natural flow and rhythm. Thus lomi-lomi is also known as "Loving Hands" or "Temple Style massage."

At completion of the massage, you will feel blissfully relaxed, with the benefits of the healing continuing long after the massage has ended.

Every guest receives a complimentary half hour Lomi Lomi Massage.
