The resort is nestled amidst magnificent tropical gardens, majestic palms and massive rain trees,  just 15 minutes by road from Nadi Airport - and blessed with the only white sand beach in the Nadi area. The beach faces due west, giving breathtaking sunsets across the nearby islands.

The drive from the airport takes you through scenic countryside and sugarcane fields, past the Sleeping Giant Mountains and through historic Viseisei Village, Fiji's first legendary village settlement.

Lautoka, Fiji's second largest city, is just 15 minutes away by road, with Nadi town, the main shopping area, 30 minutes away. From the First Landing marina you are 15 minutes by boat to the nearest island. Denarau Island is 45 minutes by either road or boat.

Dining

Timber decks and coral platforms are set amidst swaying palms, overlooking the ocean and gardens.

Award-winning chefs will bring an array of culinary delights to your First Landing dining experience. They aim to create local and international dishes to suit any palate.

The extensive menu features fresh lobster and seafood as well as great steaks and exotic local dishes, using an array of fresh, local produce. Pizzas and fresh salads round out the menu. And try to leave room for some great desserts.

We have a fine selection of Australian and New Zealand wines.
A sumptuous Buffet Breakfast is included in the daily tariff.

The activities bure is the place to go to find out what is planned for the day ... perhaps a Fijian cooking class, or a walk through the gardens to learn how the Fijians use the local plants, or learn how to weave coconut leaves into all kinds of practical things, or learn the strategies for the evening's crab race plus many more interesting activities. There is a kids club to keep the children entertained.

• Swimming Pool - The large fresh water swimming pool is set in a lush tropical garden with banana and pawpaw trees growing around the edges, a waterfall and interesting tile mosaics. The poolside bar will help to keep you cool.
• The aromatherapy massage and beauty bure is also at pool side. A full range of Aromatherapy Beauty Services is also available for both males and females - Facials, Waxing, Body Massage, Body Scrubs & Wraps, Manicure, Pedicure.

Your stay can be as relaxing or as busy as you like with a host of activities that we can arrange for you. There are many half and full day trips, all close to First Landing.

• Half and full day cruises to near by islands for snorkeling, dolphin watching and much more are available. Bounty Island is a 20 minute boat ride from First Landing and is a marine sanuctary. Also near by Treasure island has baby turtles and iguanas. Transfers to nearby islands can also be organized.
• Fishing - There are a number of fishing charters available on request
• Scuba diving to beautiful coral reefs and nearby wrecks - First Landing is proud to be associated with one of Fiji's largest and most established PADI dive operations - Subsurface. They provide a full range of diving options and certification.
• Vuda Yacht Marina is located next to First Landing.

BURES
First Landing bures have an all-timber 'plantation style' cottage theme. All bures (cottages) are well-appointed with high ceilings, polished hardwood floors, local furnishings and a private, screened verandah.

The 18 Beachfront Spa Bures command spectacular and expansive views across the ocean and nearby islands. They have a private spa bath in the bathroom with a 'secret window' for ocean views. All bures have a westerly aspect for fantastic tropical sunsets.

The 14 Garden bures are set in lush tropical gardens near the beach. The deluxe garden bures also have a lounge with small kitchen off the main bedroom.

All Villas have their own private plunge pool, spa and BBQ area. There are 2 betrooms, each with an ensuite and spa, fully equipped kitchen, expansive indoor/outdoor living area with Cable TV, CD Rom, DVD and all up-to-date conveniences.

Garden Villas have 2 Master Bedrooms on the ground floor each with ensuite facilities and indoor showers. One bedroom also has a two-person spa and shower in an outdoor courtyard. The second bedroom has an outdoor shower.

The kitchen has fridge, microwave, electric cook top, all cooking and serving utensils, washer/dryer.

The living and dining rooms have high ceilings with tropical timbers, furnished with lounge suite, colour TV, DVD, DC and integrated sound system.

All rooms are air conditioned and have ceiling fans. There is a private tropical garden courtyard with a 9 metre swim/spa pool, BBQ patio and large covered verandah for exclusive use of Villa guests.
