Outer Islands
Although there are more than 300 islands in the Fiji Islands, few are inhabited.
Fiji's islands have something to offer the curious visitor searching for an isolated spot or true adventure.
There are hundreds of outer islands scattered around the main islands of Fiji. Many of them are remote, making access difficult and often expensive, but closer islands with accommodation include the Yasawas, Kadavu, Beqa, Toberua, Vatulele, Wakaya, Naigani and Ovalau.
Fiji's volcanic origins can be seen clearly in the shapes of the islands and their reefs.
