Pacific Harbour
Roughly 50 kilometres west of Suva is Pacific Harbour joining the eastern most fringe of the Coral Coast. Pacific Harbour best known as the 'Adventure Capital', is a complete visitor destination with its own 18 hole championship golf course and inland waterway.
Pacific Harbour is Suva's tourism centre.
Lying about half an hour drive from the Capital towards the Coral Coast, Pacific Harbour boasts several vacation resorts, villas and a number of fine independent restaurants as well as a cultural centre, a golf course, deep sea fishing and diving specialists to the amazing Astrolabe Reef off Beqa.
Pacific Harbour is a great place to stay for adventure tourism. There are several tour operators offering exciting river trips up the Navua River into the stunning rainforested interior and to traditional villages. Trips can be made by motorized punt or bamboo raft passing riverside villages and isolated scenery. A little further north there are some excellent rapids for rafting.
The nearby island of Beqa, home of the legendary firewalkers, is a world renowned diving location.
