Lomalagi

Lomalagi means ?Heaven? in the Fijian language and when you?re in Heaven, you get to make your own rules! Rule #1: Only 12 guests in 6 luxurious Villas.

Lomalagi suts in the most gorgeous and secluded location in all of Fiji with 600 square mile Natewa Bay at your feet. You?ll experience total peace and quiet. Just soft waves lapping and birds singing in the trees.

No jet skis or water-skiing. No noise. Instead, world-class snorkeling, scuba diving, trolling or deep sea fishing. Sea kayaks and mountain bikes. Village life.

Lomalagi is a working coconut plantation with wide wooden walkways connecting the Villas throughout the entire 25 acre property.

Dining

The hexagonal dining pavilion overlooks the pool, facing the sea and can accommodate up to 24.  Sometimes local ex-pats or guests from other resorts will join us for meals.

All menus are planned to guests' preferences which means you are asked for your food likes & dislikes before you come. Breakfast is prepared from a menu (the night before) and most guests have it brought to their Villa in the morning.

Lunch & dinner are planned to include things you really like and exclude things you don't or can't eat. It works really well!

Recreation

  • The 'play house' features a regulation pool table, 'swap' library and lots of board games.
  • The swimming pool is 80' x 20', in an "S" shape and contains over 100,000 gallons of filtered sea water. Two giant waterfalls interact with the pool and there are several secluded sunning spots. Lomalagi faces due North so there is sun at the pool all day long.

Honeymoons & Weddings

Romantic and intimate - peace and tranquility - unparalleled privacy - spectacular setting. Lomalagi is for lovers so "Heaven" is the perfect location for the honeymoon of your dreams. Or, celebrate that special anniversary or other event in your lives that you wish to remember forever.

Getting there

Lomalagi is located on Vanua Levu, Fiji's second largest island. A quick 45-55 minute flight from Nadi to Savusavu brings you to us with excellent connections from most incoming international flights. Your arrival time might require an overnight stay in the Nadi area as the inter-island airlines don't fly after dark. Please ask your travel agent for recommended accommodations, if required.

Upon your arrival in Savusavu, we will meet your flight and whisk you off to Lomalagi, about 30 minutes away, along the truly scenic Hibiscus Highway. On departure, we will take you to the Savusavu airport for your return to the real world.

Lomalagi Room Information.

This is Heaven.....so there are no telephones in the villas to interrupt your stay!

Enjoy the peace and tranquillity, the outstanding view and, especially, the privacy.

The Villas are very private and set far apart across 500 metres of hillside, with spectacular views of the bay.

Lomalagi's six huge and very private villas all have wonderful views and 12' x 32' private decks with sun lounges and a dining table.

Local hardwoods have been used in the construction and the bed in each villa is queen-size.

The lounge chairs - made from coconut trees - were specially made for Lomalagi. The palms are harvested right here in Savusavu and only trees past their bearing years are used for this beautiful furniture.

Your villa has an 8' x 8' shower room with intimate lighting and a soaking tub - big enough for two!
