Makaira has two accommodations only, each situated on their own acre, offering the most in privacy.

Marlin Bure

The Fijian style bure/cottage is designed to highlight the panoramic views of this beautiful location that gently slopes to a point between two white sandy beaches.

The bure captures the ambience of Fiji, detailed in a façade of reeds, woven coconut roof and local works of art, yet is fully equipped with all the comforts of home.

Accented with highly polished wooden floors, open beam wood ceiling, kitchenette, screens, mosquito net if needed, large deck, spacious indoor hot water bath/shower that also captures all the views in privacy, and a cool refreshing outside jungle shower set in lava rock and a tropical garden.

Grander Suite

The Grander suite is situated on it own private acre of paradise to capture the spectacular ocean views.

Including deck space the suite is a luxurious 865 sq ft, (over 270m) complete with a romantic and spacious Master Bedroom and a opulent separate living room.
  
Each room was built to capture the spectacular panoramic ocean views from the time you wake up in the morning until you close your eyes at night when the gentle sound of waves will lull one into a restful nights sleep. 

The Suite is finely appointed with imported tiles, wood ceilings, rich fabrics and ethnically accented in local arts, and crafts.

It has everything one would expect in comfort at the high end resorts at a very affordable price.

The living room can be converted into a second bedroom upon request.
