Qamea island is the twelfth largest island in Fiji, located 20 minutes off the coast of Taveuni Island. A small reef system in front of the property not only provides protection, but also excellent world class snorkeling no more than 25 meters from the beach.
Qamea Resort and Spa is an exclusive boutique resort with just fourteen luxuriously appointed air conditioned beachfront bures and villas nestled among swaying coconut palms and lush tropical gardens.
The main bure, designed like a Fijian "Bure Kalou" or temple, is at the centre of the resort and serves as the central meeting place for guests. It has a 50 foot high ceiling and contains the dining room and bar. It is surrounded on three sides by a wide deck where afternoon tea is served and where the resort's Fijian band performs at night.
The Qamea Bar is fully stocked with your favorite beverages, including soft drinks, water, beer, wine, spirits and liquor. Just before dinner, most guests meet here for cocktails appetizers, and friendly conversation as another amazing sunset brings a close to another day in paradise.
No children under 16 years of age accepted unless entire resort is booked.
